All About DogWish, Inc.
What and Who is DogWish all about?

DogWish is a charitable non-profit organization that trains top quality Service Dogs, and places them with the disabled at cost effective rates.
F
or over thirty years, DogWish has offered the best in dog training for working dogs, service dogs, and family pets. Bob has been honored for his work by several organizations like The Red Cross, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the German Shepherd Dog Club, and others.  During the past several years Bob has trained over 150 Service Dogs for the disabled community, and DOGWISH continues to provide and place dogs trained on a level that changes the lives of every one who owns them.

DOGWISH is a Non-Profit 501C3 Corporation

DOGWISH was created by Bob Taylor:

WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY CONCERNS OF DOGWISH?
The primary concerns of DogWish are to change the qualify of life for disabled Americans, infusing our DogWish recipients with the strength, courage, motivation,  desire, and ability to raise their level of independence, personal successfulness,  and capability to overcome their personal circumstances.
It may be shocking to realize that almost one in five people in our world are disabled.  Many of these people will not fit into the restricted regiments of other organization programs, and without DogWish do not have a hope of obtaining a K9 that will help them.  Since the 1980’s we have provided several top quality trained K9s for the “Make-A-Wish Foundation, to make the wishes of children with serious and fatal diseases come true.  During that time we trained dogs for numerous clients who were disabled and needed our help.  Finally, in 2,000, Bob Taylor decided to make training Service Dogs for the disabled his primary, full-time career.  We found the market open and interested.  People came with real needs that no one else was addressing.  However, they all needed one thing to get help, MONEY!  DogWish was developed as the way for them to easily get financial and emotional support from the communities around them.   We work with those who come to us, showing and helping them to raise the finances to pay for their dogs.  DogWish is actually YOUR way to help others!

HOW DID WE DEVELOP DOGWISH K9S?
We have for 30 years done extensive research in the fields of Psychology, Biology, Physics, and Neurology to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the brain and body work to receive, process, and produce behavior.   Our main concern was to understand and respond to the behavioral problems and “state of mind” we found in each of our clients’ dogs.

Through this process we developed our strategy for training into a highly sophisticated scientifically comprehensive program that was able to be comprehensively analyzed and structured.  We used hundreds of dog/client teams and some five years of work to develop a strategic system of conditioning that we used to break into, focus, modify, and pattern the natural subconscious responsiveness in the brains of dogs we trained.  The response has been phenomenal.

I then used this model to develop a working Dog Psychology, showing how the related “thought process”, the “learning process”, the “decision making process”, and the “performance process”, all work together, to create K9s with perfect performance.  Guess what, they did!

For the past ten years DogWish has been consumed with scientific study and research to develop knowledge and produce field studies that would show our documented ability to meet the needs of the disabled community.  In doing so we became nationally recognized for training K9s that could, because of our special conditioning, out perform others in their related fields, and who were honored as the best in America.    We have used this knowledge to teach our K9s to understand and work with the severe physical and mental problems presented by the disabled community we serve.

Through my research I inductively dissected the brain and its many parts and processes, the related glands and the Neuro/muscular system affected in the body by the brain, into an understandable comprehensive model.  Through that process we accomplished something that no one else before us had been able to do; to develop a model to understand the actual specific biological processes used by all animals for their minds and bodies to receive, process, and create behavior.

Just as all behavior is related, so all neurological disabilities are related.  As we have progressed we have found a completely related field of needs in the disabled community involving those with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Seizures, and like neurological affects such as Agoraphobia, Panic Attacks, those stricken with Alzheimer’s disease, and other like diseases.

We crated a new type of Service Assistance K9, the Psychiatric Assistance K9 that would be capable of helping these people.  This complicated K9 was a combination of a modified Police K9, Search & Rescue K9, and Seizure alert K9, trained with the potential to be “brainwave and body functioning sensitive”, and capable of understanding, alerting, and working with these individuals.  As more and more people found out about what we were doing, they contacted us for help.

WHAT MAKES DOGWISH K9S SO SPECIAL?
Being a psychologist I have formulated our dog training to be therapeutic and healing.  It is done in such a way as to capture, focus, and control the attention of the conscious mind of both the K9 and its handler, and at the same time program and coordinate their emotions and thought patterns, teaching them simultaneously to relax and intensify, under control.

The first step in training each K9 is to teach them to stop and relax physically, and emotionally.  This prepares the K9 to focus, receive, and respond to commands in a proper mental/emotional state of mind.  We call “going into training mode”.  It does produce a modified state of consciousness in the mind of the K9 which makes them much more sensitive, focused, and trainable.  It has greatly enhanced our training program with all dogs we train.

The strategy we use for training teaches the K9 to become sensitive to the movements, smells, and electro-magnetic energies of the handler, and at the same time teaches the handler to project and focus their thoughts and energies into the K9.

  • As each recipient would learn and use the techniques I prescribed for handling their dogs, the effect of those exercises they used to maintain the training in their dog also appeared to have had the effect of stabilizing the workings of their own mind.
  • By working with a K9 whose brainwave (consciousness) and consequently body responses had been altered and controlled by the conditioning they had received in order to go into what we call "training mode", the dogs actually communicated with the handlers through their controlled behavior, and helped the handlers to do the same, which has had the affect of promoting balance and stability in their brain functions.

I have now been able to use this conditioning with my K9s to work with a wide spectrum of mental/emotional disorders, disabilities, and developmental disabilities in both children and adults with tremendous success, because through the conditioning experience, what the client actually learns is how to work with and control their own mentality and body functioning.  Our K9s can actually:

  • Smell the difference between normal and abnormal body smells,
  • Feel the abnormal electro-magnetic energy changes as the brain begins to send abnormal signals which the body projects,
  • See the difference between normal and abnormal muscular-neural movement,
  • Hear the difference in normal and abnormal body functions (breathing, speaking, blood flow and other normal body functioning sounds, etc.), and respond with understanding and instant clarity to what is happening with the afflicted person.

To confirm our findings we contacted field experts Doctor David Kelso, a leading Hospital Medical Administrator and the Vice President of the American Red Cross.  After explaining how we able to train our K9s to be “brain wave” sensitive, Dr Kelso flew out and spent a week training seizure dogs with us.  As a result he confirmed our findings and used them in his University lectures.  Dave stayed in contact with us for further research and investigative concerns in this area of work, where we are leading the field.   He also has had us train and purchased 4 K9s from us himself, and used them as the top performing Police, Search & Rescue, and Therapy dogs in America.

We took our diversified experience, coupled it with our knowledge and ability to create behaviors in dogs, and used it to make each dog we place extremely sensitive, alert, and function able for a variety uses as the same time.  Our recipients love them!  As we did so, and our recipients called us with unbelievable reports of success with their dogs and we realized we had the ability to do things others had never done.

SEIZURE SERVICE DOGS
We have, since we started training dogs for people disabled with Autism, worked with training Seizure Alert K9s as well.  Along with the K9s I trained for other seizure afflicted persons, I have taken two young men who were beset with severe seizures, and had them live with me.  These two men would have severe seizures two or three times a week before they came to live with me, and one of them almost died from the results.  Their situation was very serious.  By daily teaching them how to handle seizure K9s properly, and to work with them on a daily basis; how to eat correctly, breathe correctly, and think correctly, we were able to reduce the amount and severity of their seizures about 95%.  During the process we were able to actually detect those behaviors leading up to potential seizures with the help of our K9s, up to some 8 hours before each potential occurrence, and as a result either stop or control each occurrence with great success.  As a result, each of these young men has returned to their families and are now enjoying normal lives.   I continue to hire people afflicted with Seizures to this day, and haven’t experienced a single case we couldn’t help.  We presently are working with 2 young women in the same condition whose lives have literally been stopped by their seizures.

HOW ARE DOGWISH K9S TRAINED?
We begin immediately teaching our dogs to focus on the handler, ignore distractions, and cut hyper-tension, beginning the process that leads to “brain wave and body functioning” detection and can save and transform lives.  At the same time we have worked with a complete spectrum of behaviors daily, presented to us by concerned clients, who have brought their dogs to us for behavioral development, conditioning, replacement, transformation, and rectification.  Many of these people have sought lesser means to resolve their problems and, having failed have come to us as a last or final resort.

We have taken their dogs and succeeded with dramatic results where others have failed because our training has affected changes in the mental framework, capacity, ability, drive, and desire to intelligently and voluntarily perform.  Our training has uniquely affected and produced permanent changes in the mentality and behaviors of the dogs we have trained that is needed and desired by our clients.

The specific cause for these phenomena is the ability I have been able to create to stimulate and engineer mental growth, development, and responsiveness from animals that either:

  • Didn’t have the capability for this mental development before our training
  • Possessed brains that to a great extent were not being used, (where their mental capacity to learn and perform lay dormant and not stimulated because the DNA in their brain cells which was not being actively used to stimulate the brain to learn, communicate, etc, (because of long term inactivity and caused by lack of development and usage in the dogs personal background of ancestry who were not trained and worked with)
  • Possessed brains whose processes had partially shut down from stress and trauma
  • Possessed brains that were slow in developing

Each week we receive a set of new dogs with various mental problems that we are paid to teach to:

  • control their emotional problems,
  • learn how to stop, focus, receive instruction, follow that instruction
  • learn new behaviors
  • transfer patterns of unacceptable behaviors to new acceptable behaviors
  • and literally transform their behaviors

In order to be effective and successful we work with each dog to:

  • learn how to enhance and use their mental capacity
  • raise their level of intelligence and individual maturity,
  • improve their self image and personal role in order to become more functional in the pack,
  • and become a more positive part of the relationships with their human counterparts that they share and experience.

In order to be capable of responding positively in training, each dog must learn how to

  • Relax and then focus
  • Stimulate and use their brain
  • expand its ability to receive, understand, and respond appropriately to our instruction
  • increase their ability to use their conscious mind to respond voluntarily to our conditioning

Their success in doing this is achieved directly as a result of the conditioning exercises we teach them as we literally:

  • attack the conscious and subconscious mind of each dog,
  • forcing it to respond directly to our training,
  • intensely motivating and focusing each response with positive rewards, which produce mental clarity and further stimulation,
  • and give the dog a further capability to progress.

As a result of our training these dogs have learned:

  • To expand their brain’s potential to focus, receive, understand, follow, and perform tasks based on verbal communication, electro-magnetic stimulus, and brain wave inductive energy
  • Develop the ability to communicate dynamically on several levels using several dimensions of communication
  • Develop the ability to use their own thoughts to do intelligent complex problem solving

WHAT A DOGWISH K9 WILL DO FOR YOU!
After some years of investigation, further research, and confirmation, we now know that we can produce Autistic, Seizure Alert, and Psychiatric K9s that will greatly help every person who handles them.  Further, with our knowledge, we have found several links between our knowledge of how the brain works, and our abilities to intercept the thought process, stimulate change, and correct deficient errors in our DOGWISH recipients, through contact and work with our K9s.

Because of the work we do our clients now have the opportunity:

  • To confront their own personal issues with a power, strength, and confidence they never had before
  • To progress in their lives whereas before they just lived a day-by-day struggle to cope with their disabilities
  • To overcome issues in their lives that before were considered impossible
  • To live independent, successful, happy, purposeful lives

DOGWISH FOR MANY OF OUR CLIENTS IS THE GREATEST THING IN THEIR LIIVES!
