Max & Jack , A DogWish Success Story DogWish K9 Training Transforming Lives!
At first tethering was very difficult for Max, because he is a very busy little boy and hates to be restrained in any way. But as each day passes, he is becoming less and less resistant and seems to really enjoy Jack-Jack’s presence. Jack-Jack has done extremely well on all of our outings. He has helped Max to stop escaping, and face his world. I didn’t realize that fear was driving Max until we got Jack.
The other interesting result of having Jack with us is the way everyone reacts to Jack-Jack. From day one people have responded SO POSITIVELY to Jack and come up and initiated conversation with Max, which really helps him. It is amazing. Usually, because Max does have some odd behaviors, doesn’t really talk or interact, or simply is constantly running, people just ignore him. I have really been able to see how Jack is going to act as a social bridge for Max. The implications are so exciting.
We are very excited to have Jack-Jack with us and are looking forward to all of the ways he is going to help Max improve and be a happy, safe young man.
